Academic Advisors at Cape Cod Community College are here to guide your decision-making and support your academic success. Starting college for the first time or returning after being away – there are many things to learn – the good news is you do not have to go it alone! Advisors can help you navigate every step along the way from program selection, course registration, connecting with support services, career exploration and transfer planning. We can provide the support you need or connect you with the resources/department that can help.

You may have one or two advisors listed. If you only see one advisor listed, then you have a Professional Advisor in the Advising Center. They are your first point of contact. You are encouraged to meet with them regularly throughout the semester. Their office is located on the second floor of the Grossman Commons building. You can click on their availability link and schedule an appointment to meet with them.
If you see two advisors listed, then your primary advisor is a Faculty member from your area of study or closely associated with your program. They are your first point of contact during the semester. You are encouraged to meet with them regularly throughout the semester. You can click on their availability link to schedule an appointment with them. If there is no link, then you can email them directly using their first initial and last name for example Professor Janet Smith would be jsmith@shengmeiting.net. When the college is on semester break – you are encouraged to reach out to your secondary advisor.
